I enjoyed my week learning. I had a very good teacher who made the lessons fun and interesting. I learnt as much as I believe is possible in a week.
I would definitely go again and would recommend it to anyone.

The course was a very good experience, the time went fast and I learned good Spanish for four weeks.

I wrote an E-mail to the school before attending the school, and the answers I got back was really good and informative, with all I needed to know before attending the school.

When I arrived at the school everything was easy, because I got all the information I needed, the books I needed ect.

The class was okay, especially the grammar, I learned a lot.

The location was nice.

I didn`t attend any activities outside the class because I didn`t have any interest in them - they were for young people, about love - Valentines Day.

I am 66 years old, so therefor I didn`t have any interest in those activities.

We stayed in a hotel so therefor we didn`t need any housing.

What I liked:
Teachers who are helpful, very kind and professionel .

What I didn’t like:
The location of the school is not the best. Because no light from the outside.
Also if you are in an upper level, most of the time, you are alone with the teacher and the best way to learn a language is practice with other students......Unfortunately, I was alone most of the time and the lessons last just 1 1/2 hour.....if the class has 2 students, the lesson will be 3 hours....

I was Very pleased with the classes, teacher,location and facilities, iI did not attend any activity and had privat housing

I only attended the school for one week, so I have limited experience with Desilena.
However my experience was very positive - both registration, planing and execution of the course. The teacher was excellent.
I only missed one thing: I think the course should include some contemporary topics of general interest, for example climate change, the political situation in Spain, Cataluña, energy situation in Spain .

We have been learning Spanish in this school for five years during our holidays in Tenerife.
We like individual classes. There we have to speak Spanish and only Spanish during the 90 minutes, that's why we learn a lot.
We had different teachers and each one was super. Thanks to all the teachers.
We are going back again in February.

My studies at Desilena School are associated only with positive impressions. I liked the punctuality and professionalism of the teachers. Teachers are always polite and friendly. Available to explain the difficult moments of the Spanish language. Lessons are easy and easy.

I studied Spanish in this school for two winter seasons. The school is very conveniently located in the middle of the resort. Very good teachers and general atmosphere in the school. I find very helpful the practice when the student has lessons with 3-4 different teachers changing during the day.

I studied at Desilena between 2017 and 2018. The classes at Deilena are kept small, this enables the teachers to focus on each one of the pupils, thus ensuring that no one is being left behind. Whilst the teachers are very professional they are also friendly and take a real interest in each pupil. As well as very enjoyable classes, different social/cultural activities are organised on a weekly basis within the school and excursions are made throughout the year to different areas of the island to experience some of the important fiestas and events that are so important to Tenerife. The focus of the school is to immerse the pupils in living and learning Spanish. The school is in an ideal location for anyone living in the south of the island and has comfortable study rooms and a well stocked library.

In summary, a friendly, professional and competitively priced language school. I often felt I was part of a family when studying with Desilena

It is not easy to start with new foreign language learning when you’re more than 50 years old and when you don’t have any outstanding capabilities.
I used to learn English and Spanish in many various schools and now can say that Desilena is the best one I have ever seen.
I could say a lot about the warm atmosphere of the school, about excellence of the teachers and the director Desi.
But the most important thing is the result.
After 3 years in Desilena my Spanish is better than my English despite 45 years of my learning of English.
And now I can solve any issues at any place in Spain

For two years we have followed the courses to the school, we learn many things, the teachers are very good and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

I really liked the intensive course. I had a small vocabulary and could not speak at all. Already half a week of training, I began to do without a translator. Training is built on communication. The method of presenting the material is such that knowledge lies down carefully in the head. Later they are easy to use. I recommend not to waste time searching and immediately go to this school!

I loved the first year (2017-2018) in which we talked a lot and talked about our current life.
We did many educational games
The teacher was very attentive, there was a good complicity.

I was less comfortable in the second year or they asked us for too much work in past history, geography or old-time painters.
I work too technical for me, to learn ordinary Spanish.

But I loved the school, the place and all the people who work there.
If life allows me to return, I will return.

For me, the school is perfect. The teachers are very kind and they can make you feel comfortable even if you are afraid that you do not know anything.

The teachers are very skilled and professional and give challenges on the right level so my Spanish really improved. The lessons are built up in a clever way, with a variation of activities to keep the spirit up all day.

When practicing conversation, the focus is to manage real life conversations and encouraging to express opinions while keeping the grammar in mind. I felt very welcomed in the school, the atmosphere is friendly and family like. Seems teachers are well taken care of and that they have a fun time at work. You can always hear laughter from the canteen :)

Desilena is the best Spanish language School I have been to. They put together a personal study programme for me that met my specific needs and learning style. Desilena is a privately owned and managed Language School and that in my experience resulted in a more personal, professional and customer focused service.
