Learn Greek on the beautiful island of Paros and discover its traditions, golden beaches, rich history, and vibrant contemporary life. Every July, the Alexandria Institute organizes a Modern Greek Language and Culture Course for all levels on one of the most charming islands of the Cyclades — the perfect setting to combine language learning, culture, and summer relaxation. Participants can choose between one-, two-, three-, or four-week courses, depending on their goals and availability. In addition to Modern Greek, we also offer: an Ancient Greek course for beginners, intermediate and advanced students a Greek Literature and Culture program, for those who wish to explore the depth and beauty of Greek language and thought. But learning Greek is only the beginning. Our program in Paros offers a truly immersive experience, connecting the language with the island’s everyday life. Through a variety of cultural activities, guided visits, cooking workshops, and excursions, students discover Paros’ gastronomy, architecture, and heritage, and experience the authentic spirit of this unique Cycladic island.
